Madison Kimery’s Alamance Moral Monday speech on voting rights inspires America

Madison Kimrey, founder of NC Youth Rocks, spoke at our Alamance Moral Monday on October 28th, inspiring not only her supporters in the audience but, thanks to a viral You Tube video by documentary film makers Annabel Park and Eric Bylar, hundreds of thousands of people across America have heard her message encouraging civic involvement among our youth, and her demand that the NC Legislature and Gov. McCrory reinstate 16 and 17 year’s right to preregister to vote. The Alamance NAACP is so proud to have her in our coalition and we support her in the belief that we should encourage voter participation by everyone.
