Join the Alamance NAACP on Saturday, February 14th and ride our buses to attend the Ninth Annual NC NAACP HKonJ Moral March on Raleigh and HKonJ People’s Assembly! On this Valentine’s Day, we will join other communities from across the state for the largest LOVE and JUSTICE march since SELMA!

We LOVE quality Education, Economic Sustainability, Workers’ Rights and Livable Wages, Health Care and Medicaid Expansion, our Environment, Equal Protection Under the Law, without regard to creed, race, gender, or sexual orientation, and Voting Rights for All. We LOVE the most vulnerable and the power and beauty of diversity within our State and Nation. We are determined to go “FORWARD TOGETHER, NOT ONE STEP BACK!”

Bus tickets will only be sold in advance, and not on the day of the event. Bus tickets are limited in number and should be purchased by Tuesday, February 10, 2015.

TICKET PRICE: Make a $10.00 donation, by cash or check, and reserve a round trip bus ticket or donate to sponsor someone. Don’t let the donation keep you from joining us. We have a limited number of donated seats for those in financial need. Donations are non-refundable. (Donations or gifts to this NAACP Unit are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes.)

PICK UP TICKETS AT LIFE’S JOURNEY UCC: Tuesday, February 9th, from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm, tickets will be available from a NAACP member at Life’s Journey UCC, at 1908 S. Mebane St., Burlington, NC.

PICK UP TICKETS BY SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT: Arrangements can also be made to purchase tickets by contacting Noah Read at hkonjalanaacp@gmail.com or at 336.260.4399.
